Inspired at a young age by Harold and the Purple Crayon, art has always been a part of my life — and the life I want to build. In high school, I deepened my love for painting and always chose art as an elective. College expanded my creative lens and allowed me to explore different art forms like printmaking, intermedia, and photography. Art helped me process and understand my rigorous science coursework, allowing me to study the two subjects I love most: science and art. Since graduating, finding time to create has been more difficult, but I always find my way back, even if it’s just through monthly whiteboard drawings at the Family Medicine Clinic.
